Chandigarh Traffic Police on Saturday issued a travel advisory for the people of Tricity. Chandigarh Travel Advisory came after farmers' protest all set to take place in the Union Territory from November 25 to November 28. As per reports, a sit-in protest has been called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha and Bharatiya Kisan Morcha on the main road near Mohali Golf Range and Phase-11 railway track from November 25 to November 28. Notably, Jalandhar and Ludhiana had come to a standstill after farmers blocked the Jammu-Delhi National Highway and railway tracks near Jalandhar Cantt. However, after meeting with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann farmers agreed to vacate both railway tracks and national highways.
Coming Chandigarh diverted routes, the city's traffic Police in its advisory stated-

➤ The road from Faidan Barrier/Junction No.63, Chandigarh leading towards Saheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Mohali
➤The road adjoining Mohali Golf Range and Railway track, Phase-XI, Mohali towards Faida Barrier (Junction 63), Chandigarh.
Commuters are advised to adopt an alternative route, keep patience & co-operate with police.
The following alternative routes can be used to travel from Chandigarh to Mohali/Punjab:-
➤Commuters going towards International Airport, Aerocity, Bestech side, Punjab are advised to take right from Faidan Barrier/Junction No. 63 and then left from slip road, Chowk Sector-46/47/48/49/Junction No. 62 straight towards Airport Road, Mohali.
➤Commuters going to Patiala, Sangrur, Sirsa side from Chandigarh are advised to go from Tribune Chowk towards Zirakpur side. Traffic Police is on the job and real-time updates will be shared as per ground situation.
