On Tuesday, a Rohini court will hear India's two-time Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar's anticipatory bail application in connection with the Chhatrasal Stadium brawl in New Delhi that resulted in the death of a wrestler. The Delhi Police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for information leading to Sushil Kumar's arrest earlier on Monday.
After the death of Sagar Rana on May 5, Sushil Kumar has been on the run. The senior wrestler has been charged with murder, kidnapping, and criminal conspiracy. Sushil Kumar and six others were given non-bailable warrants by a Delhi court last week in connection with the Chhatrasal Stadium brawl, just days after a lookout notice was issued against the two-time Olympic medalist in the same case.
After raiding his home, Delhi Police had returned empty-handed. Sushil went to Haridwar and then Rishikesh to avoid being arrested, according to reports. To apprehend him, raids were carried out in the Delhi-NCR area and neighbouring states.
The wrestler was 23 years old when he died. Last Tuesday night, he and two of his friends were reportedly violently attacked by other wrestlers inside the Chhatrasal Stadium in the city's northern area.
According to the source, Sushil Kumar, Ajay, Prince, Sonu, Sagar, Amit, and others allegedly got into a fight in the stadium's parking lot.
According to the FIR, Sagar and his friends were staying in a house connected to Kumar and had recently been asked to vacate.
About 2 a.m., a call was made to the police control room from Chhatrasal stadium about a "firing incident," in which the caller claimed two men with handguns shot at others.

“During our investigation, we discovered that a PCR ambulance had arrived and rushed the wounded people to BJRM hospital...,” according to FIR.
Sagar died as a result of his injuries, according to the police, while Sonu and Amit are being treated.
A “loaded double-barrel gun and three cartridges” were discovered by a district crime squad, according to police "outside the stadium, inside a Scorpio vehicle.
Sushil Kumar had previously claimed that none of his wrestlers were involved in the fight.
