A few days back, the actor Chhavi Mittal shared her condition and revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Now, the actress has gone under a successful surgery and on her comeback, she posted a picture of hers. On Tuesday morning, she posted a picture from the hospital through her Instagram handle. In her post, she informed her followers and well-wishers that she is ‘Cancer-Free’ and the worst is over.
In the posted picture, Chhavi is smiling and posing for a selfie that she has taken from the hospital bed. She wrote “When the anesthesiologist asked me to close my eyes and think of something nice, I visualized my beautiful breasts perfectly healthy. And then I went under. The next thing I know, I woke up cancer-free. The surgery lasted for six hours, there were multiple procedures done, and it’s a long road to recovery, but the great thing is... it’s only going to get better now. The worst is over”
Through her post, she also requested her well-wishers to pray for her and further quotes “Your prayers were in my head all through and I need them even more now, coz I’m in a lot of pain. The pain, reminds me of the huge battle I just won with a smile on my face. I’m going to spare you the gory details, but thank you guys for sticking with me through this. Your messages brought tears to my eyes. Don’t stop the prayers yet… And lastly but most importantly. I couldn’t have done this without my partner in crazy, the equally strong, the equally insane, resilient, brave, patient, caring, loving @mohithussein Don’t want to see tears in your eyes ever again! #cancerfree”
At the beginning of this month, she posted about her cancer on Instagram and even shared that she has been fortunate as the doctors were able to detect the lumps. The actress is well-known for her many successful TV shows and even the YouTube series which she also created ‘The Better Half’. Chhavi Mittal is married to a director Mohit Hussein.
