Chief Engineer water supply and sanitation (North Zone) Er KK saini today directed officials of Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur districts to ensure 100 percent water connections to rural households under Jal jeevan Mission.
Presiding over a review meeting at the circuit house, the chief engineer asked officials to complete the work of providing 100% FHTC in all villages of rural areas in time fixed by Punjab Govt. He directed officials to strictly adhere to the deadlines to achieve the targets fixed under Jal Jeevan Mission.
Earlier, Er NP Singh Superintending Engineer Circle Jalandhar & Er Rajesh Dubey Superintending Engineer Circle Hoshiarpur welcomed chief engineer KK saini.
In the meeting the session on Jal Jeevan Sambaad by Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation, India was also attended by the participants through video conference.
