An incident took place in Ludhiana where a 6-year-old child lost his life as his throat was slit by a plastic China dor.
Chinese Manjha for kites is banned in India. Despite the ban, people of India secretly use it. AN incident took place in the Ludhiana city of Punjab where a boy lost his life due to his throat being cut with a plastic Chinese manjha.
The deceased child has been identified as Daksh Giri, a resident of Ishar Nagar, Ludhiana.
The child was standing in the front of a scooter whereas his mother and younger brother were sitting behind.
Dhaurav Giri, father of the deceased stated that he was going to Duggari along with his family. As soon as they reached the Gill Canal Bridge, Daksh’s got stuck in the dor of a plastic kite due to which his throat got cut. Daksh was taken to the hospital but the doctors could not save his life.
On the complaint of the child's parents, the Sadar police station has registered a case against the unknown accused. Along with this, the family is in shock after the death of the child.
Inspector Gurpreet Singh, SHO of Thana Sadar, said that a case has been registered against him under section 304A of the IPC.
A day before Independence Day, a 26-year-old businessman also lost his life as his throat was also slit by a Chinese Manjha in Shahdara at Nathu Colony flyover in Delhi.
