During its annual session for 2022-2023, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jalandhar Zone elected Mr. Amrinder Singh Dhiman, CEO of Dhiman Industries, as its Chairman and Dr. Aman Mittal, Vice-President of Lovely Professional University, as its Vice-Chairman.
Mr. Amrinder Singh Dhiman, CEO of Dhiman Industries after being announced as the Chairman of CII Jalandhar Zone thanked everyone. In his acceptance speech, Mr. Dhiman talked about the need for employment generation and the adoption of new technologies by local manufacturers. He emphasized the importance of increasing manpower and engaging people to reinforce the industry's commitment to society and sustainability. In the end, Mr. Amrinder Singh Dhiman stated that CII in Jalandhar should focus on maintaining its strongest pillars to achieve its ultimate goal.
Adding to this, Dr. Aman Mittal Vice-President of Lovely Professional University, the newly elected Vice-Chairman, emphasized on the need for sustainable growth and the industry's commitment to society. He impressed on the point that CII Jalandhar Zone should focus on catalyzing innovative ideas and solutions to enable sustainable value creation for businesses and their stakeholders. He added that he hopes to reinforce this vision through the Zone's activities in Jalandhar. While accepting the post he stated that he feels honored to work towards promoting industrial growth and development in Jalandhar. Dr. Aman Mittal added being from an academic background, he thinks that academia and industry can work hand-in-hand to drive innovation and growth.
