Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann conducted a roadshow in Jalandhar, urging people to trust him, Arvind Kejriwal, and Sushil Rinku for 11 months. If they fail to deliver, the deposits will be confiscated, and another Lok Sabha election will be held in May 2024. He highlighted the significance of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on May 10, as this is an opportunity for Jalandhar citizens to confirm their seat in the Lok Sabha. Mann emphasized that their trust will accelerate Jalandhar's progress.

The CM promised to allocate Rs. 20 crores for the development of Jalandhar if Sushil Rinku wins the Lok Sabha election. Additionally, Jalandhar will receive Rs. 5 crores from every MP for development work, and with the Punjab government's cooperation, the city will flourish. Mann announced that the garbage mountains in Jalandhar will be removed, similar to Delhi, making the city clean and beautiful. He added that this would be an excellent opportunity to improve the city's overall environment.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that they have fulfilled their promise of providing free electricity and paid Rs. 20,000 crore in dues owed by the Electricity Board to the people of Punjab. This debt was due for the past 26 years, and Mann stated that they did not disclose how they would arrange the funds to the opposing parties who criticized their free electricity guarantee. He also mentioned that they have started taking account of the money looted by the Congress, Akali Dal, and BJP leaders from Punjab's people. The culprits will be held accountable for their actions, and the funds will be recovered.

Bhagwant Mann accused the Congress and the Akali Dal of stealing and eating Punjab's resources meant for agriculture, youth, education, and healthcare. He claimed that the looters will be held accountable for their actions, and the money will be put back into the treasury. Mann also ridiculed Sunder Sham Arora, former Industries Minister in the Congress regime, for being corrupt and having a lavish lifestyle. He disclosed that the Vigilance team had discovered a note counting machine while searching his house.

The CM also questioned Harsimrat's possession of 23.5 kg of gold and where she obtained it. He claimed that the gold was bought using the taxpayer's money, and the culprits will be held accountable for their actions. Bhagwant Mann also stated that he would not cooperate with the sand mafia or participate in drug trafficking, but he will share the burden of Punjabi's sorrows. He ridiculed Congress leaders for their lack of connection with the people, and Akali Dal leaders for their VIP culture.

Bhagwant Mann's roadshow started late, around 6:30 pm, instead of 3 pm, due to his previous meetings with Aam Aadmi Party leaders and employees in Jalandhar. The roadshow started from Bhargav Camp to Nari Niketan, covering congested areas of Jalandhar West, Central, and North assembly constituencies. The traffic police closed the roads for security reasons, causing significant traffic pressure in the area.
