Diljit, who is known for his catchy Punjabi songs and soulful ballads, became the first singer from Punjab to take the stage at Coachella. Now, popular American DJ Diplo has shared a video of himself grooving to the Punjabi music of Diljit on his social media handle.
Diplo took to his Instagram handle and shared a clip of himself dancing to Diljit's song while the singer was performing on the stage. Diplo shared the video with the caption, "First Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella and y’all really thought I would miss it?" Notably, Diljit also reshared Diplo's dance on his Instagram story.

Diljit's performance, however, stole the show, as he wowed the audience with his unique blend of Punjabi folk music and modern beats. Many South Asian fans gathered at the American music event to see him perform live, and a video shared by Diljit on Instagram of American DJ Diplo dancing to Diljit's live performance at the Sahara stage went viral on social media. During his live performance, the actor-singer dressed in a black Kurta and Tamba, a traditional Punjabi attire for men. Coachella's official Twitter account also shared a video of Diljit's performance with their fans.
