There is a new twist or what we can say 'controversy' is in making as the NCB is not ready to accept the fact that comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa got bail in the drugs case just after a day of their arrest. Going by the reports, the NCB on Saturday was allowed to amend one of three pleas it moved at the time of seeking cancellation of bail granted to comedian Bharti Singh and her husband.
The next hearing is on January 11 and if the court verdict cmes into the favor of the anti-drug agency then bail granted to Bharti and her husband will be canceled. Therefore they both will be arrested again.
Why NCB Seeks cancellation of Bail?
As per reports, two investigating officers (IO) alongwith the public prosecutor failed to appear during scheduled bail hearing in the two cases following which bail was granted to the accused in both the cases i.e. to Bharti and her husband Haarsh and Deepika's manager Karishma Prakash. As a consequence media reports revealed that NCB suspended the two IOs and also initiated in house inquiry. Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede from NCB found the role of the two IOs suspicious, which eventually helped the accused in securing bail. The report was shared with the NCB headquarters and following the prima facie findings.
