Commentators ROFL in European Cricket match after batter gets hit on 'funny-spot'; Watch Video

Commentators could not control their laughter after a batter was hit at the spot 'where it hurts the most' while running between the wickets. The painful yet hilarious incident took place in a T10 match in the European cricket league. The hilarious incident took place in the European Cricket League match between Indian Royals and Brothers XI Portugal on 31st March 2022. 

Brothers XI Portugal won the toss and elected to bat. They ended with a score of 108/6 in 10 overs. Balwinder Singh (29 off 14) and Aman Manhas (23 off 13) were the top performers. The match was reduced to 6 overs due to rain. The revised target for Indian Royals was 71 runs. Openers Md Shaikat and Amandeep Khokhar gave them a quick start. However, on the last ball of the second over Shaikat played a shot towards the leg side and ran for a double. However, due to the misfields, the batter tried to to steal the third run. 

In the pursuit of taking the third run,  Shaikat was accidentally hit on his 'funny spot' on the fielder's throw. The ball hit straight to the batter's funny spot , following which he sat down on the pitch in pain. The pain was so much that the batter lied on ground in pain. However, the entire incident turned hilarious when commentators could not control thri laughter and started laughing widely. The entire incident was recorded and following that the video was shared by European Cricket which later went viral on social media. 

Coming back to the match, the thrilling match ended in a tie with Indian Royals making 70 runs in their 6 overs. The result was then decided by the 'Golden ball' rule.
