While addressing media on Saturday, J&K Principal Secretary Rohit Kansal said broadband internet and 2G mobile internet services have been restored in parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The 2G mobile internet services have been restored for accessing only whitelisted sites to be restored in all ten districts of Jammu and two districts of Kashmir- Kupwara and Bandipora, the government order said.

However, the ban on social media will continue in these districts. Further, voice calling and SMS services have been will be restored for all pre-paid connections across the Union Territory, the order said.
