Under the new peace formula to stop the ongoing turmoil in the Congress party in Punjab, party High Command may announce the name of the new State President anytime.
During an interview to a media channel, Harish Rawat, In-charge of the party affairs in the state has openly expressed his views claiming that the Congress President will be changed very soon in Punjab. On the other hand, Harish Rawat while speaking on Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that Amarinder Singh will remain the Chief Minister face for the coming elections in the state.
However, there is no comment by Rawat when asked about who will be the new President of Punjab Congress?

Moreover, Poll strategist Prashant Kishor has met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi here on Tuesday.
There is no official word regarding the meeting, at which Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal was also present, but sources say Punjab elections were discussed and a possible equation was on the table as Kishor has been advising Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on key political issues.
