Republic TV Chief Arnab Goswami in his famous show 'Poochta Hai Bharat' yet again slammed the Congress for its alliance with the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration for the District Development Council (DDC) elections in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), colloquially referred to as Gupkar Gang, is an alliance of several political parties seeking restoration of the erstwhile state’s special status.

Goswami slammed the Gupkar Gang and appealed to the government of India to ban the party from contesting the elections as they are traitors and anti-Indians. Goswami who was in limelight for questioning the Congress and the Shiv Sena in the palghar lynching case yet again slammed the Congress.

Slamming the Congress, Arnab said, "Congress is fighting the elections with this anti-national party. Congress at times stands with the 'Tukde Tukde' gang, at times with people who want to break the country. This is the Congress party of 'Banti Aur Babli'. This was the same Congress who wanted to jolt the nation on Hathras case.

Goswami was hinting at Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi by saying  Bunty Aur Babli. Bunty Aur Babli is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language crime comedy film. Bunty Aur Babli played by Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji respectively are thieves who con people in their life.

Goswami has been in trouble for his over-aggressive reporting in the past and this might be another instance that the journalist may face some criticism.
