Ever since the debate of nepotism and favoritism has come into the limelight after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, no major hits have been given by any star kids. While some credits go to the closing of theaters some go to the nepotism controversy. Recently, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan's most awaited movie Coolie No. 1 was released on Amazon Prime.
After its release, Coolie No 1 became the most-watched film on an OTT platform in India in the first 24 hours. However, soon the reviews started to come in and the movie also managed to top the chart of least-rated Bollywood movies of all time.
While writing this article, the remake of the 1995 movie starring Karisma Kapoor and Govinda, has a rating of 1.3 on IMDb, placing it just below 2020's Sadak 2 that has a score of 1.1 on the website. The ratings show that the viewers are considering Varun Dhawan's movie Coolie No. 1 worse than KRK's Deshdrohi (1.4), while 2013's Himmatwala starring Ajay Devgn is rated at 1.7 and Salman Khan's Race 3 from 2018 has a rating of 1.9
