Novel coronavirus has started eradicating from the interior containment areas of the city but has entered a few elite areas now. Of the 7 new cases, 2 cases are from Jalandhar Heights-- high profile flats accommodation,1 case each from New Jawahar Nagar, Bhargav Camp, New Amar Colony, Industrial Area, Model House.

Apparently, this week, 4 more cases have emerged from posh residential areas, 2 each from Lajpat Nagar and New Jawahar Nagar.
As per the latest order of the Jalandhar Health and Civil Administration, containment zones have been reduced to merely three clusters--Lajpat Nagar, New Jawahar Nagar and Industrial Area. The elite areas have become a matter of concern for the authorities because they are adjoined by some densely populated areas like Bhargav Camp, which might see a surge in the number of coronavirus cases instantly.
Ever since the government has eased lockdown curbs, natives of Jalandhar have become care-free as if they have totally defeated the coronavirus. The government needs to take stern action on the violators of COVID-19 norms as to save its city and residents.
