Entire India was left fuming after CEO of Mindful AI Lab, Suchana Seth was caught red-handed with the body of her 4-year-old son stuffed inside a bag by the Goa Police. The Bengaluru-based AI Startup founder Suchana Seth was arrested on Monday by the Goa Police with the help of Karnataka Police in Chitradurga. Suchana Seth was trying to flee from the Police along with the dead body of her son she killed in a Goa hotel during her vacation. The Goa Police in their initial investigation informed that Suchana Seth killed her only son just to keep her estranged husband away from him. Suchana Seth was not happy after a court permitted her husband Venkat Raman to visit his son on Sundays. While the case is indeed horrifying, now reports reveal how Suchana Seth killed her 4-year-old son.
Suchana Seth's murder plan revealed
Revealing Suchana Seth's preplanned murder, a Police official linked to the investigation was quoted by a newswire saying the Goa Police have found empty bottles of cough syrup in the room where the CEO of Mindful AI Lab Suchana Seth is alleged to have killed her four-year-old son.
The Police official further stated that the finding of empty cough syrup bottles indicates that Suchana might have given a heavy dose of the medicine to her son and that it was a pre-planned murder. After making her son unconscious, Suchana Seth allegedly smothered her child to death either with a cloth or a pillow, added the official.
For those who haven't followed the case till now, the Bengaluru-based techie Suchana Seth allegedly killed her son in the apartment at Candolim in Goa and stuffed the body in a bag before taking it to neighbouring Karnataka in a taxi.
'Killer Mother' Suchana Seth
Seth, who checked into a Goa hotel along with her son on January 6 got noticed by hotel staff after she checked out alone and blood stains were noticed in the hotel room. Initial investigation reveals that Suchana Seth murdered her child so that her husband could not meet him.
Goa DGP reportedly informed the court that a local court had permitted the child's father Venkat Raman to meet his child on Sundays. However, Seth did not want her estranged husband to meet their son. Suchana Seth married Venkat in the year 2010 and their son was born in 2019. However, due to domestic disputes, the relationship between them turned sour. Finally, just after a year- in 2020, Suchana Seth and her husband filed for divorce.
