Experts are beginning to make public announcements for all to accept that more waves of COVID are to come.
Though, India is still battling with the second wave but the third wave is expected in October this year.

IIT Kanpur professor Maninder Agarwal identifies October as the expected month, while Principal scientific advisor Prof K Vijayraghavan is hopeful that if strong measures are taken the the third and further waves will be stopped.
If fact, Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh claimed that September will be the month when the third wave of COVID will attack.
