A 24-year-old woman, Sarah Vilard who lives in Frankfurt, Germany claimed that she faked her own wedding just to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. To get revenge on her ex-boyfriend after they parted ways, Vilard bought a wedding dress, hired a fake groom and had a faux wedding photo.
The latest TikTok trend centers around the reactions to breakups. In the trend, Stephen Kramer Glickman’s ‘Crazy’ plays in the background and the person tell how they responded after the breakup. However, Tiktoker, Sarah Vilard took the trend to next level and revealed the fake marriage. She captioned the TikTok video, “Yup, I’m crazy.”
In 2019, Vilard and her boyfriend broke up after which she wanted to get back to him. After three months of breakup, Vilard decided to have a fake marriage and it also worked amazingly.

She says she hired a fake groom, bought a wedding dress. Vilard rented out Frankfurt’s Villa Kennedy and rounded up her friends to play the roles of bridesmaids. She had a wedding photoshoot and posted pictures on Instagram.
“He found out through Instagram and texted the next day. He was freaked out as he thought I was cheating on him at the time we used to be together,” she said.
She further added, “He came to my house and wanted to talk to me afterward. I wasn’t interested.”
Later, Vilard blocked her ex from her Instagram and completely removed the traces of her ex and the wedding from her Instagram account.
Now, Vilard says she is single and happy, “I’m happy to be able to focus on myself.” “I had fun planning this little project with my friends” she added.
