Ranchi, the capital of the Indian state of Jharkhand has been seeing a high spike in the number of deaths recently. Most of the deceased have died due to Corona.
So much so is the rate of fatalities recently that the last rites infrastructure is unable to handle the incoming corpses.
The family members of the departed are struck a blow in this emotional time when they are not even able to say goodbye to their family member in a dignified manner.
All these people are requesting those concerned to make arrangement for a proper cremation or burial at the earliest.

It is pertinent to note that this kind of a scenario has never been seen before.
The sights of dead bodies being laid out in parking lots, ambulances placing the dead bodies right on the road, and no initial last rites before the offering of the body to fire are moving to the bystander, what must be going on in the hearts of the loved ones of the departed soul?
To handle the scenario, mass cremation is being performed under some cases.
