'YouTuber' Cristiano Ronaldo becomes fastest to reach 1 million subscribers; Know who held the record before him

One of the most loved football star Cristiano Ronaldo has created history as his YouTube channel gained 1 million subscribers in less than 90 minutes and became the fastest channel to reach 10 million subscribers surpassing Hamster Combat channel’s record.  

Previously, Hamster Combat, a popular crypto game’s YouTube channel was the one to create the record of reaching 1 million subscribers within 26 hours and 10 million subscribers in 7 days. It has currently around 32.5 million subscribers and it also claims to have more than 300 million players.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a famous Portuguese professional footballer, broke the record of Hamster Combat by achieving 10 million subscribers in just 24 hours. Ronaldo launched his YouTube channel “UR Cristiano” on 21^st August and proved his immense global influence by gaining a huge number of subscribers in just few hours of launching his channel.

Ronaldo’s channel currently has around 14.2 million subscribers and is continuously growing at a fast pace. His channel debuted multiple videos including a fun quiz game with Georgina Rodriguez, a teaser trailer and a clip of Ronaldo meeting his wax statue at Madame Tussauds.

This football legend gained 6 million subscribers in just 6 hours and reached 10 million subscribers by the end of the day. Ronaldo thanked his subscribers by referring them as “SIUUUbscribers”. He wrote “Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!” and posted a glimpse of him showing off the ‘golden play button’ to his children.

Earlier, Ronaldo had also announced the launch of his YouTube channel on different social media platforms and wrote “The wait is over. My @YouTube Channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me in this new journey.”

However, it’s still not known that whether Ronaldo will continue to create the content solo or will collaborate with other creators on the YouTube platform.

This exceptional footballer who is currently playing for Saudi Arabian club AI Nassr, has showed his incomparable popularity in the digital world with his record-breaking speed of gaining subscribers.
