Two residences of ruling BJD MLA Suryamani Baidya in Odisha's Ganjam district were attacked with crude bombs on Thursday. Four-part shooters were injured during the bombing, police informed.
During the incident, the Khallikote legislator was not present at either of his two houses, a senior officer said, adding that the MLA's house was attacked due to political rivalry.
Unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at the Baidya's residence at Patana Sahi in Keshapur village and her rented house at Nirmaljhar.

The police said four people have been injured in the two bombing incidents, saying they were initially admitted to a health facility at Khallikote, but we're later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
The legislators' rented property along with two motorbikes were damaged, said a police officer.
The MLA was attending a party meeting at Berhampur, however, immediately rushed to her residence at Nirmaljhar hearing about the bomb attacks.
"Teams of policemen went to the spots and started an inquiry. Political rivalry is suspected to be the cause of the incidents," the senior officer said.

After the police officers reached the place, the situation was taken under control at the two places. No arrest has been made so far in connection to the incidents.
