Tension started prevailing in CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, after a group of Muslim students misbehaved with a Hindu girl student for supporting 'suspended' BJP leader Nupur Sharma's alleged defamatory remark on Prophet Mohammed. As per reports, the situation became so tense that the College authorities had to seek Police help and as a result Police forces were deployed in the college.
CT Institute Jalandhar Nupur Sharma Prophet Mohammed Remarks
As per reports, some Kashmiri Muslim students studying in the institute misbehaved with a Hindu girl. After this, the Hindu students came in panic. The incident took place on Friday when the Hindu student from Jammu posted her comments in support of Nupur Sharma's Prophet Mohammed remarks. Her support to Nupur Sharma fumed the Kashmiri Muslim students. The incident took place at 12 pm of Friday and continued till 5 am.
As per reports, the Muslim students forced the Hindu girl to apologize. Not only this, the College management and the Police forces blamed the Hindu student for sparking controversy and held her wrong.
Furthermore, various Hindu students informed that the Muslim students came together and started raising slogans. As a result, the Hindu students had to remain inside their rooms to avoid any kind of misadventure.

'Hindu girl forced to apologise',: says CT Institute PRO Kanwarpreet
CT Institute Jalandhar PRO Kanwarpreet confirmed the report and stated that the Hindu Girl who hailed from Jammu was asked by the college authorities to apologise over her support of Nupur Sharma's remark. As per the PRO, the decision was taken in order to calm down the situation. In order to avoid any kind of misadventure Police forces were also called in by the College authorities. Currently, the situation is under control.
