On Tuesday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the last date for the registration of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) has been extended till October 25, 2021. “The last date for submitting the online application has been extended till October 25, 2021 and candidates can submit their fee up to October 26 before 3:30 pm,” read the CBSE notice.
As per the official notification, the board will conduct the 15th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) between 16.12.2021 to 13.01.2022. The test will be conducted in CBT Mode only (Computer Based Test).
The board has further added that one more examination city has been created at Leh for the convenience of aspirants. The candidates who have already applied for CTET December 2021 and wish to change their city or make any correction in their particulars in the online application form can do so from 28 October 2021 to 03 November 2021.

CTET 2021: How to apply for the teacher eligibility test?
Interested candidates may follow the below-mentioned steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit the official website – ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link, which read, “Apply for CTET 2021”.
Step 3: Enter all the required credentials and log in.
Step 4: Fill the form and upload all the required scanned documents.
Step 5: Pay the applicable fees and click on the “submit” button.
Step 6: For further reference, save and take the printout.

CTET 2021: Applicable fees
Candidates can submit their fee up to 26 October 2021 (Tuesday) before 15.30 hrs. The application fee applicable for the recruitment test is:
- General/OBC – Rs 1000/- (Only Paper I or II) and Rs 1200/- (Both Paper I and II).
- SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person – Rs 500/- (Only Paper I or II) and Rs 600/- (Both Paper I and II).
