CTRL Ananya Pandey Movie: Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey is all set to take the OTT by storm once again with her upcoming movie CTRL. American streaming giant Netflix on Wednesday dropped CTRL Trailer and it started buzzing in no time due to the movie's concept that revolves around Artificial Intelligence (AI). Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, CTRL features Ananya Panday, Vihaan Samat, and more in the leading roles. Netflix's upcoming movie CTRL is a cyber-thriller that revolves around the character of Nella portrayed by Ananya Pandey who installs an app called CTRL and surrenders her life to an AI assistant to deal so that she can move on with a bad breakup.
Ananya Pandey makes an AI assistant avatar on CTRL App and asks him to take over her life and even delete her ex-boyfriend's memory from everywhere. What goes wrong is when Nella's boyfriend goes missing in reality. The AI not only deletes Nella's boyfriend digital footprint but also it appears that he goes missing under mysterious circumstances after the actress' request. Ananya Pandey in a statement said that her character Nella is like any of us. The actress said, “She's caught up in a world dominated by technology and social media. CTRL explores how we navigate the fine line between our online presence and who we are in real life.” Ananya described working with Vikramaditya Motwane and Nikhil Dwivedi as ‘incredible’ and expressed her anticipation for the audience to watch the movie.
It is pertinent to mention here that a few fans compared Ananya Pandey upcoming movie CTRL to the hit Netflix series Black Mirror. Black Mirror is a hit British dystopian sci-fi series that also focusses on the drawbacks of technology. The official synopsis of the trailer says, "Are you really in CTRL? A cyber-thriller starring Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samat, and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. CTRL, arrives on 4 October, only on Netflix."
