Mr Perfectionist is known for getting into the skin of the character he plays, has decided to quit social media. Sharing the last post, actor Aamir Khan thanked his fans for their love and wishing him on his birthday. Aamir celebrated his 56th birthday on Sunday. He added that henceforth he will not be active from his personal account. However, he informed that any future communication regarding his films will be sent out via the profile of his production house, Aamir Khan Productions.
In his note, Aamir, "Hey guys, thank you so much for all the love and warmth on my birthday My heart is full. In other news, this is going to be my last post on social media. Considering that I am SO active anyway I have decided to drop the pretence. We will continue to communicate as we did before."
"Also, AKP has created its official channel! So future updates on me and my films can be found there. Here's the official handle! @akppl_official." He signed it off in his usual style saying, "Lots of love, always a”, he added.

Aamir's last film Thugs of Hindustan was a disaster at the box office. He is working on his next film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which will release on Christmas this year. The film is a Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic ‘Forrest Gump’, which starred Tom Hanks in the leading role. Kareen Kapoor Khan and Mona Singh also play a pivotal role in Laal Singh Chaddha.
