Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, India’s oldest Ayurveda College in India is conducting a six day CME (w.e.f 06th to 11th September 2021) for Govt. Ayurveda Medical Officers from today. This event is sponsored by the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, co-ordinated by All India Ayurved Congress (AIAC).
Principal Dr. Sanjeev Sood welcomed the chief guest Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Registrar Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur along with Guest of Honour Vaid Anil Bhardwaj, Secretary Punjab State Ayurveda Congress and Dr. Parminder Bajaj, President NIMA, Punjab State participated as the special guest in the event.
Chief Guest Dr. Sanjeev Goyal briefed about the importance of Ayurveda during covid times. He said thousands of patients were cured by Ayurveda during covid-19. He stressed Ayurvedic doctors to use Ayurveda for skin diseases, neurological, joint problems, abdominal disorders and many other chronic diseases of the body.
He told Ayurveda drugs and lifestyle as the best immunity booster and encouraged the practitioners to practice and popularize Ayurveda among the public and ensured that this CME will provide practical applied expert knowledge to practitioners attending this programme.
Dr. (Prof.) Anoop Gakkhar, Director Rishikul Ayurveda Campus, Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Uttarkhand delivered his expert lecture on “Health through Ayurveda and Ayurveda in daily life” and Dr. Parveen Kumar, Associate Professor department of Panchakrma presented his expert views on “Applied aspects of Virechana and Nasya.”
Dr. Parveen kumar, coordinator of the program told that 30 Govt. medical officers and Private Practitioners are attending this programes and 12 experts Vaid Tara Chand Sharma, Secretary All India Ayurveda Congress, New Delhi, Dr. Parveen Kumar Bansal, Joint Director BFUHS, Faridkot, Dr. Gaurav Parmar, Assistant Professor Department of Shalya Tantra, RGGPG Ay. College, Paprola (H.P.), Dr. Anoop Gakkhar, Director Rishikul campus Uttarakhand university, Uttarakhand, Dr. Sanjeev Sood, Professor Department of Panchakarma, Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, Dr. Tipu, Associate professor, Department of Shalakya Tantra, Dr. Chander Shekhar, Professor, Department of Kaya Chikitsa, Dayanand Ayurveda college, Jalandhar, Dr. Parveen Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Panchakarma, Dayanand Ayurveda College, Jalandhar, Dr. Pooja Sabharwal, Assistant Professor, Department of Rachna Sharir, Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurveda charak sansthan, New Delhi and Dr. Meena parmar, Assistant Professor, Department of prasooti Tantra, RGGPG Ayurveda college, paprola (H.P) are going to deliver their expert lecture in this program to update the knowledge of Ayurveda Practitioners.
