Dayanand
Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, is all set to host a three-day 'Ayurveda Parv'
from March 19 to 21, at the college premises. This information was shared by
the Prinicipal of the college Dr. Sanjeev Sood, during the press conference
held today.
The conference was chaired by Padam Shree and Padam Bhushan Vaid Devender Triguna
(Delhi) and Co- chaired by Vice Chancellor of Guru Ravidas Ayurved University
Punjab, Hoshiarpur Dr. Bal Krishan Sharma Kaushik, Registrar Dr. Sanjeev Goyal,
Dean Academic Dr. Rakesh Sharma of Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab
Hoshiarpur & Dr. Sanjeev Sood.
Dr. Jagjit Singh Chairman Ayurvedic and Unani System of Medicine Punjab and Dr.
Parvinder Bajaj President NIMA Punjab also graced the occasion.
They briefed the mediapersons about the Aarogya Parv, which is going to be held
on 19th to 21st March 2021 in the campus of Dayanand Ayurvedic College,
Jalandhar.
In this Parv around 50 pharmaceutical companies and equipment’s manufacturing
industries would take part from all over the India. There would be free
Ayurvedic medical camps for General Public and series of lectures on
maintenance of Health & Managing common diseases through Ayurveda.
This Aarogya Parv would be first of its kind in oldest Ayurvedic College,
Jalandhar. Staff & students of the Ayurvedic colleges of Punjab would also
visit the event and would gain firsthand information regarding new Ayurvedic
drugs and equipment’s.
In whole, the event would be a benchmark for the beginning of new era of Ayurveda in Punjab, they said.
