In a bid to ensure zero percent pendency of mutations in the district, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori directed all the Patwaris, Kanoongos, Circle Revenue Officers (CROs), and SDMs to ensure that no mutation case was pending with them beyond the timeline of 45 days.
Chairing a review meeting here at District Administrative Complex, the DC asked officials of revenue department to speed up the entire procedure with respect to mutation so that people do not face any kind of problem in getting the mutations of their properties registered. He categorically mentioned that if any sort of inordinate delay was reported in this task, the officials concerned have to face strict departmental action for the delay. However, he lauded the officials who have maintained zero pendency by timely executing mutations in their respective jurisdiction besides asking others to pursue the same course of action to eliminate their pendency.
The DC further revealed that as many as 2928 mutation cases are pending in the district at various levels of which only 553 are pending beyond timeline. He also directed the officials to clear this pendency within a week so that the target of zero pendency beyond timeline could be achieved in the district. Mr. Thori said that after the integration of the NDGRS system, registration of mutation is now compulsory within 45 days after the registration of property. He added that after the commencement of this new system over one lakh mutations have already been registered by the revenue officials within this time frame.
Notably, the district has earlier maintained top position in maintaining zero pendency in the delivery of citizen centric services to people. Thori further said that no stone would be left unturned to deliver government services in a hassle-free and time-bound manner.

He also said that most pending mutations are within the timeline and will be cleared within the 45 days time-frame. He reiterated that any kind of pendency beyond timeline will be highly unwarranted.
Meanwhile, the DC also reviewed the progress of preparation of Jamabandis and updation of Musavi (master copy of khasra plan) at Tehsil level wherein he ordered the revenue officials to accomplish this task at the earliest. On the occasion all SDMs, Tehsildars and Nayab Tehsildars of the district were present.
