Jalandhar, February 8- Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori on Monday reviewed the preparations for the state-level virtual launch of 56 additional citizen services through Sewa Kendras, by Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Tuesday at Chandigarh.
Presiding over the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that the Punjab Government is committed to giving topmost priority to provide public services to citizens in a hassle-free manner. He said that the Sewa Kendras have been acting as facilitating agency for the people coming for their routine administrative works.
He said that these new 56 additional citizen services through Sewa Kendra will facilitate the people.

He asked the officials to ensure elaborate arrangements of the virtual launch in the Sewa Kendras and other places excluding the areas where model code of conduct is being enforced due to elections in six municipal councils and two Nagar panchayats.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that the officers have been assigned duties regarding the function and any sort of callousness in this duty is unwarranted and undesirable.
