DC has finally dropped the curtains on the new Batman trailer that was released on Saturday during the DC FanDome virtual fan event. The action-packed trailer is the complete one that starts Robert Pattinson in the iconic lead role and has been directed by Matt Reeves.
The 2 minutes 38 seconds long trailer ups the 'darkness' quotient of the film with its violence and the Cape Crusaders ominous dialogue, “It's not just a call… It's a warning.”
In the trailer we see that The Riddler has been arrested, whose face is not shown. According to sources, it has been confirmed that the role has been portrayed by Paul Dano. We also see other characters like Catwoman played by Zoe Kravitz and Alfred Pennyworth played by Andy Serkis.

The iconic role of The Batman has been portrayed by legendary actors like Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, among others. Directors Christopher Nolan, Joel Schumacher and Zack Snyder have directed movies based on the character in the past.
The movie will be officially released in theatres on March 4, 2022, and will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros.
The DC FanDome event included glimpses of some of its titles like Black Adam, Shazam, Fury of the Gods, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Peacemaker.
