A youth from village Masita in Sultanpur Lodhi subdivision of Kapurthala died by drowning in pool in America. It is being reported that two youths have died by drowning in a pool in Florida, USA, one of whom was from Kapurthala and the other is from Hoshiarpur. Following this tragic news, a wave of mourning has spread through the village of Masita, and the family is inconsolable in their grief.
According to information, Sahil Preet Singh Bajwa (21 years old), son of the late Surjit Singh and resident of Masita village, had gone to Florida, USA, around five months ago in hopes of a better future and to earn a livelihood.
It is being mentioned that recently, Sahil Preet Singh Bajwa and his friend had gone to a swimming pool in Florida for a swim. However, during this time, his friend slipped, and when Sahil Preet tried to save him, he also drowned in the pool. Sahil Preet and his companion Amandeep Singh, who was from the Hoshiarpur area, both lost their lives. It is also worth mentioning that Sahil Preet's father had passed away in 2017.
Upon hearing this tragic news, a wave of sorrow has spread through the village of Masita and the surrounding areas. Sahil Preet was working at a store in Florida, USA. The entire responsibility of the household rested on Sahil. The grieving family has appealed to the Indian government and Sant Seechewal to bring Sahil Preet's body back to India as soon as possible.
