India is reeling under the disastrous second wave of Covid-19 which has not spared anyone from its havoc. Another Bollywood celebrity Deepika Padukone has now tested positive for the coronavirus on May 4.
According to the reports, the actress has not taken to her social media handles so far to announce her Covid test results. The news of Deepika being infected came at a time when her entire family has been gripped by the contagious virus.
Presently, Deepika is along with her family in Bangalore.
Earlier in the day, Deepika’s father and ace badminton player Prakash Padukone was admitted to the hospital after his body temperature did not drop for some 10 days after being tested positive for Covid-19.

Not only this, Deepika’s mother and younger sister Anisha have also been diagnosed with the infection and are presently in self-isolation at their Bangalore residence.
On the work front, Deepika will be next seen sharing the screen with her husband Ranveer Singh in 83.
