Bengaluru: Today, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy promised to create a more conducive atmosphere on ease of doing business in the State maintaining that Karnataka is the preferred destination for setting up of the Defence as well as Aerospace related products manufacturing.
India showcased their Air Force muscle as Rafale, Sukhoi and various other aircrafts flew on their supersonic speed in the sky in the Aero India-2019 in Bangalore.
Speaking at the inauguration of the 12th edition of the Aero India-2019 by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, on Wednesday, he said that "Karnataka has huge potential for setting up Aviation Industries and continued to be a leader in the Country". Stating that Karnataka is emerging as the Hub of the Indian Aviation industries, Mr Kumaraswamy said that the State Government has proposed to set up Defence products Manufacturing hub at Mysuru as well as MRO hub at Mangaluru.
Kumaraswamy stated that Aero-India 2019 event will open-up lots of opportunities to explore the possibilities for investment in the State. He said, "Government of Karnataka is involving in one-to-one Business meetings with several entrepreneurs during the premier Aero Show in the region".
