In a brave act, a woman fought off a mobile snatcher who tried to steal her cell phone when she was en route to her friend in New Delhi's Badarpur area. The Badarpur mobile snatching video has gone viral on social media with netizens lauding the girl's bravery. The Badarpur woman mobile snatching video has raised many eyebrows as the incident took place on 'lonely' streets of Delhi. The incident took place on September 4, at around 11:27 pm when the woman was going to visit one of her friends in the Badarpur area.

As per the Badarpur woman fights mobile snatcher viral video, it can seem the mobile snatcher is following the woman. When the snatcher passes the CCTV camera zone he tried to snatch the mobile of the woman, however, the woman bravely fought the thief and never left her phone. In fact, she also grabbed the mobile snatcher's t-shirt by force. Seeing the woman bravely fighting back, the mobile snatcher reportedly escaped from the spot and the woman did not lose anything.

As per an Indian Express report, the police had received a call at the Badarpur police station around 11.30 pm that day regarding the incident at Tajpur Pahadi. They added she had caught the thief by his shirt, but the man ran away after the phone fell down. Furthermore, Esha Pandey, DCP (Southeast), said, "A case under IPC sections 379 (theft), 356 (assault during an attempt to commit theft), and 511 (punishment for offences without express provision) has been filed, and the matter is being investigated."

It is pertinent to mention here that no arrests have been made till now pertaining to this case.
