After Sunita Kejriwal's positive test report Delhi Chief Minister has isolated himself as well. Earlier today, Union Minister Jitendra Singh tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
On Monday, Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was also tested positive for the virus and was admitted to AIIMS. As per reports, his condition is stable.
Delhi has recorded 240 deaths in the past 24 hours with is much higher than 161 deaths, reported on the previous day. Today city reported 23,686 cases. And on top of the increasing cases, the city is facing an extreme crunch of hospital beds. The national capital has 19,499 reserved beds for coronavirus patients. Out of the 1,439 ventilator beds, only 26 are vacant and out of 2,969 ICU beds (without ventilators), only 32 are vacant.

India has witnessed 15,321,089 cases in the last 24 hours and has reported the highest number of COVID-related deaths in a single day with 1,761 deaths. The total number of deaths now stands at 180,550 and India now has more than 2 million active cases.
The five most affected states in the countries are Maharastra with a total number of cases 3,898,262, Kerala with 1,253,068, Karnataka with 1,176,850, Tamil Nadu with 1,002,392, and Andhra Pradesh with 968,000.
