Critically acclaimed and Emmy-winning Drama Series Delhi Crimes created by Richie Mehta has yet again gained a lot of recognition and love from the audience in its second season.
The web series is inspired by real-life crime happenings that have shivered the country. The result is taut, gripping mysteries with deep consideration for the political and social context they exist within.
The first season was built on the horrifying 2012 Nirbhaya Gang Rape case, whereas the second hovers around the quadruple murder ostensibly committed by the notorious Kachcha Baniyan gang, so-called for their tendency to carry out crimes dressed only in their underwear.
The second series is having 5, with each 45-50 minute-long episode unfolding the crime and the police’s rigorous attempt to nab the miscreants.
The ultra-engulfing and much-loved series in both of its seasons have left the audience in dilemma about the future of the series. While there is no official announcement about the Netflix original series, however, it does seem the work on the 3rd season has begun.

It only needs a completely structured script about the show before we get to listen to the announcement of a new show. However, the third season of the show is most likely to follow the same sort of format in relevance to the politics and real-life culture of contemporary times.
As per several reports that surfaced, in 2021, National Film Award-winning writer-director Sudhanshu Saria was brought on board to write the script for the third season.
The speculation is around the idea that the script is underway and as soon as the job is done the production work will be taken up.
