Delhi govt schools to get boosted in the upcoming academic year with various new modules

With a great surge in the output of Delhi's government schools, Delhi Government is all set to introduce a few more initiatives like new entrepreneurship curriculum and some changes in the currently running happiness curriculum.

With the academic year 2018-19 completing with a total of 14,93,742 students enrolled, the admission process has begun in schools as the boards examinations are also almost over.

The new entrepreneurship curriculum has been planned as a pilot project for class IX, X and XII aimed for the development of entrepreneurial mindset. In this module, the students will be provided with a sum of Rs 1000 to experiment and 40 minutes od each school day will be given to this module.

Another module which is going to be added is 'Constitution classes' from July onwards which will introduce the constitutional values to the students and will be conducted once a week.

Another reform which is being called he highlight of all the reforms is the introduction of monetary rewards for the best academic performers. The toppers will be rewarded with Rs 2500 and this new scheme is valid for students of classes VI to XII.
