In a massive development, a shootout erupted between Delhi Police Special Cell and two bike-borne miscreants late Sunday night in the Mayur Vihar Phase 1 area. After a brief encounter, the two individuals were arrested and identified as henchmen of the terrorist & gangster Arsh Dalla. After their arrest, it was revealed that both of them were sharpshooters of the Arsh Dalla gang, who were living in New Delhi ultimately to assassinate Punjab singer Elly Mangat.

The police team signaled them to stop. However, after seeing the police, the miscreants turned aside and started running away. As a result, the police tried to catch them. When the police team went after the miscreants, they opened fire on the police team. In retaliation, the Delhi Police fired back. During the Police firing, Arsh Dalla's sharpshooters were injured and they were arrested by the Police on the spot. Both the shooters are reportedly undergoing treatment.
For the unversed, Arshdeep Singh, aged 27 and hailing from Dalla village in Punjab's Moga district, is linked to radical organizations such as the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) and the International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF). Known for engaging in a range of organized criminal activities, Arshdeep is also affiliated with the infamous Canadian gangster Goldy Brar.
It is pertinent to mention here that before Elly Mangat, Lawrence Bishnoi-gang fired at Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal's Canada house. Although Gippy was not at home when the firing took place, the Punjabi singer was still shocked. While Gippy's case is still afresh, the Delhi Police Special Cell team foiled the assassination attempt of Elly Mangat.
