Punjab's Sangrur district MP Simranjit Singh Mann has issued a warning to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to hold elections of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). He said that if elections are not held then the Sikh sect can claim this right itself. It is important to note that on Thursday, MP Mann and his followers protested in support of the SGPC elections in front of the Golden Temple.
Mann said that today World Republic Day is being celebrated. SGPC is still a slave, though. SGPC elections were not conducted for the last 11 years. The Administration of India, whose central government is Hindu, is in charge of holding elections. They want to dominate the SGPC.
They don't want elections to be conducted because of this. But if elections are not held still, the struggle will be intensified. He used the proverb "Whenever the death of a jackal arrives, he runs towards the well" to caution Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

MP Mann said that those who had gone with the BJP have gone. However, real Sikhs have congregated today in front of the Golden Temple. This is their majority. If the central government does not conduct elections, then it is enough for the Sikh majority. The struggle will intensify further in the days to come. Not only this, people have understood that Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar is a secular party. The voice of Khalistan has been raised, in which all religions will be respected.
According to MP Mann, everyone would wave saffron flags at their residences on January 26 of the next year. The fight to release the captured Sikhs will also get more intense. Bargadi Morcha has entered in 426. Singh and Bibiyan are giving arrest. If the central government does not conduct the SGPC elections, then the martyr groups are sitting ready for their rights.
