State General Secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party Punjab unit, Harchand Singh Barsat, on Thursday, thanked AAP's national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said that all party workers will work hard to win Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat for the party.
Addressing a press conference at the party's local office, Harchand Singh Barsat said, "I thank Arvind Kejriwal for inducting an honest leader like Sushil Rinku into the party." He said that together we will ensure the victory of the party in this by-election.
MLA Sheetal Angural thanked the party supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for declaring Sushil Rinku as the candidate for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll. He was addressing a press conference with, MLA Raman Arora, State Secretary Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, Kartarpur MLA Balkar Singh and other workers, where he said that they will leave no stone unturned to support Sushil Kumar Rinku and help him win this seat.
MLA from Kartarpur Balkar Singh said that Sushil Rinku is an honest leader. He said that there is a wave of happiness in the constituency due to the nomination of Sushil Rinku as the party candidate. He said that together we will ensure the victory of the party candidate.
Sushil Rinku, the party's candidate for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha bypoll, thanked party supremo Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and MP Raghav Chadha, saying that the people of Jalandhar will make the party victorious as a reward for pro-people policies and pro-Punjab works of AAP. I will win this seat for the party with the large number of votes. He said that democracy is being violated in our country everyday. The BJP government at the center is harassing innocent leaders of various political parties, false cases are being filed against them.
Thanking the entire leadership and party workers, Sushil Rinku said that now the election campaign will pick up pace in a few days. He said that thanks to the electricity facilities, health facilities provided by the AAP party to the people of Punjab and the reforms being done in the schools, I am sure that the people of Jalandhar will make the party candidate successful by giving them a huge mandate.
A large number of party workers including senior party leaders Deepak Balii, Atma Prakash Bablu, Punjab Agro Export Chairman Mangal Singh and District President Amritpal were present on the occasion.
