US President Donald Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration has started to impact India as military aircraft carrying 104 Indians will land at Amritsar Airport on Wednesday. 205 Indians who entered the US illegally after the new President Donald Trump took power are arriving in India today. The US military aircraft C-17 will land at Amritsar Airport carrying illegal immigrants from India deported from the United States. Out of 205 Indians deported from America, 104 will come to Amritsar airport. While a major crowd was seen at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport in Amritsar before the arrival of the flight, a list of Punjabi immigrants coming from the flight has been released.
Punjabi immigrants list deported from the US
The list of passengers has come out that include 30 passengers from Punjab. 4 are from Jalandhar, 5 are from Amritsar, 1 from Gurdaspur, 1 from Taran Taran 1, 6 from Kapurthala, 2 from Hoshiarpur, 2 from Ludhiana, 2 from SBS Nagar, 4 from Patiala, 1 from Sangrur, 1 from SAS Nagar, and 1 from Fatehgarh Sahib making a total of 30 deportees from Punjab.
People from 6 other states of India will reach Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport in the afternoon. The US military aircraft C-17 carrying 205 passengers is coming to Amritsar from San Antonio, America with flight number RCM 175.
According to the information received, 11 crew members and 45 US officials will also accompany the aircraft coming from America, who will return after landing the 205 Indians at Amritsar airport. There will be 104 Indians on this flight including 30 from Punjab, 33 from Gujarat, 3 from UP, 33 from Haryana, 2 from Chandigarh, and 3 from Maharashtra.
Earlier the flight was scheduled to arrive at 8 am, but now it will arrive at 1 pm and depart at 4:30 pm. Security agencies at the airport are fully alert about this. Apart from checking the documents of the deported people, their entire background will be investigated. If someone is found to have a criminal record, he will have to go to jail.
As per reports, among these Indians deported from America, there may be some people who have committed some crime in India and then fled to America.
