Flood-like situation was witnessed in most parts of Ludhiana as rain water entered houses of people in the recent days. As of now, there has been some relief in the floodwater in some areas, providing relief to the residents.
Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner, ‘Surabhi Malik’ has urged the citizens of Ludhiana to take precautions as standing water can cause severe vector-bone diseases like Dengue Fever and Chikungunya. She also stated that the Government will sure that all the water is taken out as soon as possible.
She asked everyone to keep houses clean, eat cooked vegetables, wash hands as and when required and immediately visit the nearest Aam Aadmi Clinic if anyone faces any infections or fever. She also requested everyone to follow all the do’s and don'ts that will be shared shortly.
