On Saturday, 1st November, legendary Indian fashion designer Rohit Bal passed away at the age of 63 due to cardiac arrest. Fashion Design Council of India shared this tragic incident in a post and wrote, “We mourn the passing of Legendary designer Rohit Bal. He was a founding member of the Fashion Design Council of India. Known for his unique blend of traditional patterns with modern sensibilities, Bal's work redefined Indian fashion, and inspired generations. His legacy of artistry, and innovation along with forward thinking will live on in the fashion world.”
Gautam Singhania, the Chairman of Raymond Group has also expressed his grief through sharing a post on his X handle. He wrote, “Heartbroken to say goodbye to an incredible friend. You brought so much light, laughter, and kindness into the lives of everyone around you. I’m grateful for every moment we shared, every laugh, every conversation. You’ll be missed beyond words, but your spirit will live on in all of us. Rest peacefully, my friend.”
But this is not the first time, India has lost a celebrity due to cardiac arrest. There are multiple Indian celebrities that have lost their lives due to the same reason.

He had hosted shows like Savdhaan India and India's Got Talent. Sidharth passed away unexpectedly on 2nd September 2021, at the age of 40, due to a sudden heart attack.
- · Singer KK: Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK was an Indian playback singer. He had recorded several songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. He was known for his versatility in a variety of music genres. He is known as one of the greatest playback singers of India of all time. He had received two Screen Awards, along with nominations for six Filmfare Awards. He passed away on 31st May 2022, at the age of 53, because of a sudden cardiac arrest after a concert in Kolkata.

He had acted in several movie including Baazigar, Bombay to Goa, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. He had also contested in the comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and became the runner-up. He had won the title of ‘The King of Comedy’ in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge – Champions. He passed away on 21st September 2022 due to a sudden cardiac arrest.

He has played iconic roles in multiple movies including Mr. India, Ram Lakhan, Saajan Chale Sasural and more. He had passed away from a sudden heart attack on 9th March 2023, at the age of 66 in Gurugram.
- · Rajiv Kapoor: He was an Indian actor, film producer, film director. He was best known for his lead role in Ram Teri Ganga Maili. He was the youngest son of Bollywood actor-director-producer Raj Kapoor. He had starred in various Bollywood movies including Aasmaan, Lover Boy, Mera Saathi, Zabardast, Hum To Chale Pardes and more. He passed away on 9th February 2021 at the age of 58 because of sudden heart attack.
