Dharmendra and his first wife Prakash Kaur spotted with Mumtaz for a Sunday get-together

Prakash Kaur, the first wife of veteran actor Dharmendra, rarely makes any public appearance.

Bollywood veteran actress Mumtaz joined actor Dharmendra for a Sunday get-together. The reunion was also attended by Dharmendra's first wife Prakash Kaur and Mumtaz's sister Malika Askari.

 

Dharmendra and Mumtaz have worked in films like “Jheel Ke Us Paar” and “Loafer” among others.

 

According to reports, Mumtaz had chatted with the yesteryear superstar, Dharmendra for 2-3 hours. Sharing the picture on Instagram, Mumtaz wrote in her caption, “So sweet,” and added a red heart emoji.


 


We got a rare glimpse of Dharmendra with his first wife, Prakash Kaur, in the midst of it.

 



Prakash Kaur is Dharmendra's first wife and has four children with him -- Sunny, Bobby and daughters Vijeta and Ajeita. Dharmendra had tied the knot with Prakash Kaur in the year 1957 when she was just nineteen years old. But he fell head over heels for Hema after working with her in several films. In a 1999 interview with Simi Garewal, Hema admitted that her family was opposed to their relationship. 

 

On September 1, 2021, her elder son, Sunny Deol, had shared a rare picture with her and had written, "Happy Birthday Mama". 




Bobby Deol had also shared a rare photo with his mother, Prakash Kaur and had captioned it as "Happy Birthday MAA love you".

Although, Prakash played the perfect host and there were some lovely delicacies and lots of tea and coffee.


Mumtaz, who is a very jovial person, cracked a lot of jokes with Dharmendra and the entire span was nostalgic and heartwarming.


Dharmendra was very happy that Mumtaz came over to meet him.
