After Diljit Dosanjh and Karan Aujla, Chandigarh is all set to witness AP Dhillon's live concert. AP Dhillon who is on India Tour and performing in multiple cities will set the stage on fire in Chandigarh on December 21, 2024. The Brown Munde singer will perform in 'The City Beautiful' at the Rally Ground in Sector 25. The past two concerts of AP Dhillon have witnessed surprise guests grooving and singing along with the Punjabi singer. In Mumbai, AP Dhillon was joined by actress Malaika Arora, in Delhi, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and singer Jazzy B joined him on the stage.
Keeping the excitement around AP Dhillon's Chandigarh concert in mind, Chandigarh Police has issued a traffic advisory for December 21, 2024. The Traffic Police in their advisory has announced that certain roads and routes near AP Dhillon's concert will be closed after 4 pm (IST) tomorrow. About 2500 police personnel are being deployed for the show. Parking for vehicles has been made three kilometers away. Spectators coming from Faida and Gaushala can park their vehicles in Sector-43 Dussehra Ground. People coming from Mohali and Mullanpur can park their vehicles in Sector-39 Grain Market and Transport Light Point, Nayagaon, Kansal Zirakpur can park their vehicles in Sector-17 Multi-Level Parking.
According to the advisory, traffic is likely to be affected from 4 pm. Avoid roads near Sector-25 Rally Ground and Sector-25/38 dividing road and Sector-14/25 dividing road to Kachcha Rasta, Dhanas Mor. Heavy traffic flow can be seen at Sector-14/15/24/25 Chowk, Sector-24/25-37/38, Daddu Majra light point near the dumping ground, and Sector-23/24-15/16 Yatri Niwas Chowk. The general public is advised to avoid traveling towards these squares after 4 pm.
How will people reach office and home?
Roads will be closed at 4 pm due to singer A.P. Dhillon's show. There will be no vehicle parking facility for spectators around the Sector-25 rally ground. Drivers will be able to park their vehicles in Sector-17 multi-level parking, Sector-17 Dussehra ground, Sector-43 and 39 Mandi ground.
Shuttle service will be provided to take people to Sector-25 rally ground after parking their vehicles in the parking lot. After the event is over, the shuttle bus service will drop people back to the parking lot. Geo-tagged parking spaces will be shared by the organisers.
Spectators availing Ola, Uber taxi rides will have to go to the designated parking space and avail the shuttle service. No one will be allowed to come out on the roads under any circumstances.
