Dhoom 4 Release: Dhoom 4 has been among the most-awaited movies of Yash Raj Studios for many years. Even a single report on Dhoom 4 Update creates buzz on social media as well as on trends. YRF's Dhoom franchise has turned out to be a cult classic, especially for young Indian fans. Yahs Raj Films is currently busy making their Spy Universe which includes Pathaan, Tiger Zinda Hai, and War, fans thought the idea of Dhoom 4 release may have taken the back seat. However, the latest report suggests that the makers have almost finalised Dhoom 4 lead actor.
Yes! you heard it right. As per reports, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is in talks with the YRF to play the lead role in Dhoom 4. If all goes well, Dhoom 4 will be Ranbir Kapoor's 25th film as an actor. Talking about Dhoom 4 storyline, it is said that the project will be a reboot, and is currently in development by YRF's Aditya Chopra.
The report quoted a source in the known development who informed that "The discussions with Ranbir have been going on for the longest time. He had always shown interest to be a part of Dhoom 4 on hearing the basic idea, and is now finally confirmed to lead the franchise. Adi Chopra feels that RK is the ideal choice to carry forward the Dhoom legacy.”
The source further stated that none of the previous characters will return in Dhoom 4. This means neither Abhishek Bachchan's character ACP Jai Dixit nor Uday Chopra's character Ali will be part of Dhoom 4. "Two big heroes from the younger generation will come on board to play the duo of cop buddies in Dhoom 4. Now that the core story-board is locked, the team will proceed to the casting stage. Dhoom 4 will not just be the biggest Dhoom film, but also a tentpole feature film of global standard from Indian Cinema,” the report further suggested.
Earlier, it was reported that Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will team up with John Abraham for Dhoom 4. However, the report turned out to be fake. SRK indeed collaborated with John Abraham and Deepika Padukone but for another Yash Raj Films movie- Pathaan. Salman Khan played a cameo of Tiger in the movie.
For the unversed, Dhoom 1 featured John Abraham as the thief, Dhoom 2 featured Hrithik Roshan as the thief, and Dhoom 3 featured Aamir Khan's double role as well as thief.
