Actors from the iconic nineties comedy Friends, on the other hand, were able to stay connected together and avoid being bitter towards one other thanks to one thing: equal pay.
Jennifer Aniston, joined by costars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, spoke on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show on how important it was for all six members of the cast to be paid the same $1 million every episode.
Aniston said, “We're all putting in the same amount of effort. I wouldn't have felt safe knowing I was going to make more.”

Cox added, “We were felt that way. I believed — as did we all — that the most important thing was that we were all equal in every way. It was the first time that everyone in the cast had stayed together. I believe it was scary for subsequent productions.”
With everyone's wage being equal, Kudrow noted, "it just got rid of bitterness." It was such a wonderful friendship, which is quite rare and lucky.”
Kudrow recalled, “Because she was the most well-known, I think Courteney had a lot to do with it as well. "Let's help each other if you think something's funny, let's give each other notes," she said when we arrived.
Aniston agreed and said: “It was healing. We truly parented, healed, and loved each other.”
