Neena Gupta is one of the most well-known actresses in both the television and Bollywood industries. The actress is known for bringing her roles to life and living them as if they were her own. According to reports, when they were younger, the actress had a romance with West Indian cricketer Vivian Richards.
Masaba, the actress's daughter and a fashion designer, is her child. As a single mother, Neena admitted that her father assisted her in raising her daughter.
Neena revealed in her biography, "Sach Kahun Toh," that her friend and well-known actor-director Satish Kaushik offered to marry her and name her child. He said to her, “Don’t worry, if the child is born with dark skin, you can just say it’s mine and we’ll get married. Nobody will suspect a thing.’
She talked about being a single mother and raising her daughter, Masaba. "It was very difficult," she admitted. It was harder than I had expected. I believe that was incorrect because a child requires both parents' presence and quality time. They take a lot of time, and I believe Masaba would have been even better if I didn't have to work. People assumed I had moved to Delhi following my marriage with Vivek because he is from Delhi, that I no longer worked, and I wondered why I wasn't getting decent offers. So, one day, I went to a director's house, and her assistant came in and asked, "Hi, when did you arrive to Mumbai?" This was the problem, I realised. People assumed I'd moved to Delhi. I was very frustrated and angry."
The actress has discussed her work-life balance while caring for her baby and working as an actress. She said that it was hard for her, so when she married Vivek Mehra in her early 50s, she decided to take a break.

It was very difficult for me to balance work and care for a baby. ‘Now that I'm married, I'm going to live a comfortable life,' I said. "I'll go to the parlour, I'll get a massage, which I haven't had in a long time, I'll cook — I enjoy cooking — I'll care about (daughter) Masaba, I'll give her more time."
Mandi, Utsav, Trikaal, Badhaai Ho, Sardar Ka Grandson, and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar are among the films in which Neena Gupta has appeared. She has a project called Dial 100 in the works, as well as the second season of Masaba Masaba.
