The singer-actor-songwriter, who recently became the first Punjabi singer to perform at the Coachella Music Festival thus representing the language on an international level and broke records for a Punjabi film at the US box office with this latest film Jodi, has always played a huge role in representing his industry all over the world, making a mark for himself in the Hindi film industry too. Adding cherry on the cake of his ongoing unstoppable run, a highly esteemed individual revealed himself as a fan of the multitalented personality.
The US vice president Kamala Harris and the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit to the country upon an invite from President Joe Biden. In his address to the media, Blinken shared how India is a part of daily lives in the United States. "Here in the US, India is part of our daily lives. We enjoy our Jhumpa Lahiri's novels over samosas. We laugh at the comedies of Mindy Kaling. We dance to the beats of Diljit at Coachella. We keep ourselves more or less fit and healthy doing Yoga", the diplomat said, showing positive signs for US-India relations and Diljit's position as a cultural phenomenon on a global level.
Talking about the impact of his performance at Coachella, Diljit was quoted by a newsportal saying "Well, I was aware of the huge scope of Coachella. It was for the first time that this stage had heard Punjabi music. And the world was listening. A regional language musician, on that stage, was the only thing that I was aware of before the show. But how it panned out and its impact, wasn’t something I had anticipated."

Diljit Dosanjh will be next seen in Imtiaz Ali's Chamkila based on the life of the iconic Punjabi musician who was assassinated at the young age of 27 co-starring Parineeti Chopra assisted with music from the Oscar-winning musician A.R. Rahman. The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2024. In addition to that, he will also be seen in "The Crew" co-starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon in prominent roles.
