Arguably one of the most loved Punjabi Singers, Diljit Dosanjh was recently embroiled in a bizarre controversy when fans accused him of joining Illuminati. Illuminati is a group that worships Satan as God. The bizarre controversy reportedly sparked when Diljit Dosanjh danced during a live concert in Brisbane and many felt that the Punjabi singer's moves were weird. During the Brisbane concert, Diljit Dosanjh lifted his both arms and made a triangle while dancing. This is when many fans on social media pounced upon him and stated that Diljit Dosanjh has accepted Satan as a God and joined Illuminati. Notably, the triangle sign is often associated with the Illuminati group.
Fed up of the ongoing speculation, Diljit Dosanjh broke his silence during the Sydney concert refuting the claims that he has joined such a group or accepted Satan as a God. In his own unique style, Diljit said in Punjabi (translated version), "This is crown Chakra, not Illuminati. After 2020, I'm above all this, found peace in Crown Chakra. Internet ko masala chahiye, sirf isliye ye rumours hai (Internet only want spices, that's why all the rumours are going)."
For those who are unaware, the crown chakra is reportedly the chakra of higher dimensions as well as spiritual emotion and intelligence. Coming back to Diljit's concert, he became the first Punjabi and Indian artist whose concert tickets in Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney were reportedly sold out. The capacity of the venue is 21000 people.
